Quality career and technical education is an essential part of America’s workforce development system. The challenges of assuring a high-quality system which meets the needs of students and employers are many. This conference will focus on providing career and technical education leaders with the information and skills to help them meet those challenges. In addition to an outstanding general session speaker, participants will be able to choose from a variety of small group breakout sessions. An additional resource available to conference participants will be a commercial exhibit area.
DATE/LOCATION
The 2025 PACTA Leadership Conference will take place from July 29-31, 2025 at the Sheraton Hotel at Station Square in Pittsburgh, PA. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on July 29, with the first session starting at 1:00 p.m. The conference will conclude on July 31 at 11:00 a.m. Optional tours will be available on July 29, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

BREAKOUT SESSION TRACKS
Breakout sessions provided on Wednesday will consist of general topic sessions for all participants and topic-specific tracks for targeted audiences.
PDE/BCTE Projects and Updates Track | This track is designed for all participants with a focus on the future of CTE and updates on CATS, APTE Review, Perkins, TAP, and other BCTE initiatives. |
Finance and Human Resources Track | This track is designed primarily for CTE Business Administrators/Managers and will focus on updates for CTE school business offices. |
Information Technology Track | This track is designed primarily for CTE Technology Coordinators and will focus on technology in CTE. |
Building Level Administrators Track | This track is designed primarily for CTE Assistant Directors, Principals, and Supervisors with a focus on issues related to the administration of secondary CTE programs. |
Facilities Track | This track is designed primarily for CTE Facilities Directors and will focus on facilities. |
Student Services Track | This track is designed primarily for CTE School Counselors and will focus on increasing access for students to CTE and assisting them in the transition to careers and postsecondary education. |
ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodations are available at the Sheraton Hotel at Station Square located at 300 West Station Square Drive, Pittsburgh, PA, 15219. The conference rate for accommodations is $199 per night for single or double occupancy. Reservations must be made by June 30, 2025. Book online or call (800) 325-3535 and mention the “PACTA Leadership Conference.”
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The registration fee is $400 for PACTA members and $450 for non-members who register by July 1, 2025. After July 1, the fee increases to $450 for PACTA members and $500 for non-members. Institutional members receive a 10% discount. The registration deadline is July 11, 2025. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made after July 11, 2025.
The registration fee includes conference expenses and materials, dinner on Tuesday, breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, breakfast on Thursday, and all refreshment breaks.
