Job Description: DESCRIPTION:
Full-Time Permanent Welding Technology Teacher position available for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidate must have 4 years of paid industry experience. Experience working with high school age students or prior teaching experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide instruction in the Welding Technology program. Develop competency-based curriculum and performance-based instruction; conduct all classroom activities as validated by the Occupational Advisory Committee. Ability to plan, assess and supervise students in a classroom and laboratory setting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pennsylvania certification in Career and Technical Instruction or willingness to enroll in coursework to obtain – Career and Technical/Instructional 2600 (Welding 2079); minimum of four (4) years of paid occupational experience. Required skills include, but are not limited to the following: MIG, TIG, and Arc welding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent
Compensation: Per MBEA Teacher’s Contract
