Job Description: Welding Teacher
The Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology is seeking a Welding Technology teacher for the 2024-25 school year to teach high school students. This is a permanent, full-time 186 day position with a daily schedule of 7:32 AM to 3:02 PM, benefits, tuition reimbursement, and PSERS retirement.
• Four-plus years of recent full-time wage-earning work experience as a welder. Current AWS welder certification preferred.
• Successful applicant must be willing to obtain the appropriate certification by completing the requirements of the PDE teacher preparation program while they are teaching.
