Job Description: The Central PA Institute of Science and Technology (CPI) is seeking a Career and Technical Education Leader for this full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervising all components of the educational programs including Chapters 4 and 339 Regulations along with compliance with PDE Approved Programs of Study; Providing leadership for curriculum development, teacher induction, staff development and the teaching/learning process; Supervision and evaluation of CTE program instructors; Leadership for the school’s NOCTI and other assessment programs; Leadership for Occupational Advisory Committees; Leadership for Articulation Agreements and post-secondary educational partners; Assisting in completion of the Comprehensive Planning process; Overseeing student discipline and attendance; Leadership in the recruitment of students; Grant writing; Acting as the Title IXSection 504 and School Safety Coordinator; Accountability and safekeeping of buildings, classrooms, equipment, and supplies; Assist the President/Executive Director in the administration of policies and procedures that lead to students achieving their educational goals; Conduct monthly faculty meetings related to instructional activities and/or needs; Provide monthly reports to the JOC; Assist in the development of budgets; Coordinate with the Vice President of Post-Secondary Education regarding join activities and initiatives and other duties as assigned by the President/Executive Director to adapt to the changing needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
• PA Career and Technical Administrative Director or K-12 Principal Certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of successful administrative or secondary teaching experience
• Ability to lead groups and a commitment to contribute to school leadership initiatives
• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, organizational, and supervisory skills
• Team-oriented approach to decision-making
• Knowledge of current and emerging trends in career and technical education
