Job Description: Seeking a facilities maintenance professional to oversee the
maintenance, operations, and groundskeeping activities of our school. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in facilities management, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and functionality of facilities and equipment. Manage and oversee the work of maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance and safety issues promptly. Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to daily operations. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. Prepare and manage the department budget, including cost estimates and expenditures. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support the institution’s educational and operational goals. And respond to emergency situations and address urgent maintenance issues as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; experience and working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry building systems as well as security and construction with and advanced training in these areas or related fields. Candidates with experience in facilities management and working in a supervisory role preferred. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations; have excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills; can multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively; and have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and facilities management software. This is a 12-month, Act 93 position and offers a competitive salary range and benefit
