Additional Information:
The Student Services Director is responsible for implementing and maintaining pupil service programs and services for secondary and post-secondary programs in conformance with district and state objectives; providing written support and/or conveying information; serving as a resource to other school personnel and sending schools. The Director is the LCCTC special education liaison with IU13. This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: Knowledge of grants, regular and career and technical education, special education, and strategic planning. This leader will ensure career education services, and record keeping processes are designed to effectively serve all phases of career and technical education, and thereby improving opportunities for satisfactory progress of educational pursuits.

Ownership and accountability for supervision and administration in the following areas:

1. Student Services
2. Special Education and ESL
3. Admissions and Recruitment
4. Enrollment
5. Technology/Data

Education & Experience:
• Prior experience handling all facets of special education matters is required
• Person must hold valid PDE teaching certificate (or valid equivalent certificate under CSPG 61) and supervisory/administrative certificate (see below)
• Supervisor of Special Education certificate is preferred, but a Principal PK-12 or Supervisor of Pupil Services certificate may be acceptable with requisite prior special education experience
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other K-12 public school entities is a must
• Valid PA Driver’s License
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer operation skills

Salary:
$90,600 – 108,700 annual; based on experience and education

Schedule:
Monday- Friday; 40 hours per week; 260 days per year
