Job Description: Student Services Coordinator
The Huntingdon County Career and Technology Center (HCCTC) is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Student Services Coordinator to support student success, access, and achievement in Career and Technical Education programs.
Position Summary
The Student Services Coordinator serves as a key liaison among students, families, sending school districts, instructors, and support staff. This position focuses on coordinating services for students with IEPs and other special populations, ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities, accommodations, and support services.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) environment.
Highly Qualified Paraprofessional certification or post-secondary degree required.
Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Experience with IEPs, accommodations, SDIs, special education practices, and diverse learners preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate student support services, accommodations, and transition planning with sending school districts.
Attend IEP meetings and assist staff in implementing accommodations and SDIs.
Serve as HCCTC’s Perkins V Special Populations Coordinator.
Develop and manage paraeducator schedules and assignments.
Support student access to certifications, instructional programs, and hands-on learning opportunities.
Collaborate with instructors, counselors, families, and administrators to improve student outcomes.
Assist with staff training related to accommodations, instructional supports, and best practices for diverse learners.
Position Details
185-day contracted position.
Reports directly to the Executive Director.
Limited telework available with approval.
Salary and benefits provided in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
