Job Description: The Lycoming Career and Technology Center is seeking a qualified individual to fill the above full-time position beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. This is a two year, grant funded position, with the possibility of receiving additional funds to continue the position. A letter of interest, resume, and credentials are required to be submitted. Applications will be accepted until this position is filled. This position requires a flexible thinker who can work collaboratively, supporting high school students’ mental well-being that allows them to be college and career ready.
● Valid Pennsylvania certificate for Elementary or Secondary School Counselor.
● Bachelor’s degree required.
● Experience providing counseling services to adolescents within an educational
setting.
● Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based counseling
techniques.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport
with students, families, and colleagues.
● Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of counseling.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
