Job Description: The Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County is seeking a Robotics and Automation Instructor. This position provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform tasks as entry-level technicians in the evolving manufacturing industry. Instruction includes automated and control systems, electrical and electronics theory, power usage integration, hydraulics, pneumatics, engineering graphics, and problem-solving in automated systems.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a minimum of four years or eight thousand hours of paid work experience in automated manufacturing, electromechanical technology, or electromechanical engineering. Candidates must be willing to enroll in an approved teacher certification program to become certified with the Department of Education as a vocational instructor.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include family health insurance, term life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and PSERS retirement.
