Job Description: Precision Machine Instructor
The Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology is seeking an opening for a Precision Machine Metalworking instructor to teach high school aged students. This is a permanent, full-time 186 day position with a daily schedule of 7:32 AM to 3:02 PM, benefits, tuition reimbursement, and PSERS retirement.
Preferred candidate qualifications include: experience in CNC machining, milling machines, and lathers. Knowledge of NIMS certification and CNC robotics would be an asset.
The potential candidate needs a minimum of four (4) years recent experience in the precision machining field. Successful applicant must be willing to obtain the appropriate certification by completing the requirements of the PDE teacher preparation program while they are teaching.
