SECONDARY FACULTY POSITIONS
Carpentry/Construction Teacher – School Year, 9 Month
Cosmetology Teacher- School Year, 9 Month
Culinary Arts Teacher – School Year, 9 Month
Digital Communications Teacher – School Year, 9 Month
Interior Decorating & Finishing Teacher – School Year, 9 Month
Outdoor Power Equipment Teacher – School Year, 9 Month
FT secondary teaching positions beginning fall 2022. Minimum of four years of verifiable industry experience is required.
Teachers are responsible for supporting student success by creating an optimum learning environment, responding to student needs, managing effective instructional activities, developing curriculum courses, modeling employability skills, demonstrating professionalism, developing cooperative work relationships with other faculty and staff, and maintaining competence in their instructional field.
Preference will be given to those who possess related industry certifications. Pennsylvania teacher certification a plus or college courses leading to certification will be required. Please log on to the High School Programs tab at www.gactc.edu for program information.
Guidance Counselor – School Year, 9 Month
FT secondary school counselor position beginning fall 2022. Applicants must be properly certificated in the Commonwealth of PA with a Master’s degree in the field of counseling and guidance. Minimum of three years successful school counseling experience required.
Responsible for the development of a comprehensive school counseling program. The school counselor collaborates with others to meet student needs in three areas: academic, career planning, and personal-social development.

POSTSECONDARY FACULTY POSITIONS
Practical Nursing Instructors
Two FT, twelve month positions available immediately. Interested candidates must possess a passion for teaching and empowering student success. The individual chosen will be responsible for didactic and clinical instruction. Excellent communication skills are necessary. Current PA licensure, BSN, or BSN candidacy are required and an MSN is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience. This is a full-time position and comes with full benefits, with paid leave including vacation and holidays. This position may include evening and weekend hours.
HVAC Instructor – School Year, 9 Month
FT position beginning fall 2022. Interested candidates must possess a passion for the HVAC industry and the ability to share their knowledge and experience of the HVAC industry with adult students in our postsecondary HVAC diploma program. The instructor is responsible for implementing effective instructional activities, developing curriculum, and cultivating collaborative relationships with businesses for student opportunities. Four years of experience in the HVAC industry and EPA 608 certification is required. Teaching and/or training experience is preferred. This position includes evening hours.

Instructional Assistant, Automotive – School Year, 9 Month
Instructional Assistant, Electrical– School Year, 9 Month
FT, beginning fall 2022 with full benefits. Interested candidates should be excited to work alongside GACTC’s expert instructional staff and share their knowledge of the industry with students. The individual chosen will possess experience in the field, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively while utilizing good judgment. Responsibilities include assisting students, ensuring professional standards are demonstrated, reinforcing lessons, and assisting in student supervision.
