Qualifications: Possess high school diploma or GED; three plus years’ experience or training in the building maintenance field; general understanding of carpentry work, HVAC, commercial electricity, plumbing and mechanical systems; ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480VAC and perform minor plumbing repairs to pipes and fixtures; background in HVAC troubleshooting, including pneumatics preferred; ability to perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred; ability to drive a snowplow and operate snow removal equipment; good communication and interpersonal skills required; general knowledge of a computer email system; ability to read blueprints and schematics; and ability to work independently while overseeing team workloads, providing necessary support, addressing any issues, and ensuring targets are consistently met.
Position Goal: Maintain and operate facility and equipment at its highest efficiency level to ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for students and staff. In addition, the Lead will serve as the main point of contact for project updates with the Maintenance Department.

Schedule: This is a full-time, year-round position (40 hours per week), scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a duty-free 30-minute lunch break. A four-day summer work schedule is available from June through August.
