Job Description: Looking for a rewarding opportunity to support students and make a positive difference each day? Berks Career and Technology Center (BCTC) is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Substitute Instructional Assistant to join our team and help high school students succeed in a hands-on, career-focused learning environment. This position is available effective immediately to approximately on or around June 4, 2026.
We are currently seeking a Long-Term Substitute Instructional Assistant for our West Campus in Leesport, with an immediate start date. Candidates must possess a high school diploma and demonstrate proficiency in math, reading, and writing. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. The starting rate is $15.50 per hour.
Schedule: This position is scheduled for 32.5 hours per week and follows the school calendar (190 days). The work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break — an ideal schedule for retirees or parents with school-aged children.
