Job Description: POSITION: Instructor of Agriculture and Biotechnology Science
LOCATION: Upper Bucks County Technical School, Perkasie, PA
STARTING DATE: Start of 2024-2025 school year
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural/Agricultural certification
• Comfortability in teaching Animal Science, Plant Science, Animal/Plant biotechnology, and Agribusiness, Research & Development courses.
• Ability to obtain Curriculum for Agriculture Science Education Certification in (CASE)
• Critical thinker, problem-solver
• Must hold a state driver’s license
• Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule and school policies
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for delivery of all course materials and instruction, to prepare the student for the workplace;
Is knowledgeable of and adheres to all institutional educational policies and procedures;
Maintain student records and participate in curriculum development and revision;
UBCTS instructors have the primary responsibility of aiding our students in the achievement of their goal (i.e. to be trained and placed) and delivering a Student First experience
