Job Description: Planning, implementing, maintenance and security of the school’s technology assets while supporting the school’s mission and vision. The manager works with school staff to ensure the availability of systems related to computers, servers, network infrastructure and telecommunication that are necessary to support the school’s instructional and administrative needs. Network Administration including, but not limited to, LAN, PCs and peripherals; install and test new software; develop appropriate training materials, conduct professional development and innovation sessions, perform regular backups, disaster recovery, security management, user account management, e-mail systems, web access, office system and applications, support server, network and computer hardware and software configuration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science related field from a four-year college or university with at least two years of experience. Knowledge of computer and network operating systems; PC configuration, repair and maintenance, and a variety of software applications; ability to multitask, meet deadlines, work independently; excellent oral and written communication skills; negotiating skills; managing the IT Budget; experience in an educational environment.
