Job Description: The Franklin County Career & Technology Center (FCCTC) is seeking a full-time Information Systems and Technology Instructor for secondary education. FCCTC has students from 10th-12th grade.
Information Systems and Technology is a program that focuses on the design, implementation and management of linked systems of computers, peripherals and associated software to maximize efficiency and productivity, and that prepares the individuals to function as network specialist and managers at various levels. Includes instruction in operating systems and applications; system design and analysis; networking theory and solutions; types of networks; network management and control; network and flow optimization; security; configuring; and troubleshooting.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess a teaching certification or who have passed the Occupational Competency Exam. Selected candidate must be able to take classes toward their Vocational Instructor certification and pass the Occupational Competency Exam.
Minimum 2 years of industry experience required.
Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year based on experience/education.
