POSITION: HVAC-R/Plumbing Instructor

LOCATION: Upper Bucks County Technical School, Perkasie, PA

STARTING DATE: Starting on or before February 2, 2022

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC & Refrigeration/Plumbing Field. PDE (Career and Technical Level I) Instructional Certification 7-12 – 2010 – Air Conditioning & 2055 – Plumbing of Completion of Competence for CIP 47.0201 – Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, & Refrigeration & CIP 46.0503 – Plumbing preferred. Preferred: one NATE certification, HVAC Excellence certification, LEED certification, RSES certification, and/or HVAC technical trades school diploma with continuing educational classes.

DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES: Provide quality occupational instruction to secondary career and technical students to prepare them for a successful career path in the fields of HVAC & Refrigeration/Plumbing. Duties include program development and modifying curriculum to remain current and effective instruction and supervision of all students. Build professional relationships with local business and industry partners to establish potential work sites for students. Maintain appropriate professional certificates and licenses as required. Willingness to pursue teaching certification and professional development activities to enhance the program as well as self. Possess excellent communication skills.
Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities as indicated in the UBCTS Instructor Job Description.
