Job Description: Eastern Center for Arts and Technology is seeking a full-time Instructor/Coordinator for PT Practical
Nursing Cohorts. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing the
adjunct faculty, teaching, planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating two part time cohorts.
Responsibilities to include collaborating on program instruction, managing student affairs and student
records, assessing outcomes of the program to determine need for revision or improvement and
observe and review adjunct faculty classroom performance. The coordinator will provide theory
instruction Monday through Thursday evenings and clinical instruction and supervision every other
weekend. Opportunities to seek professional development and growth strongly encouraged.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Master of Science in Nursing, or related field, preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
Current license as a professional nurse in this Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Experience and Qualifications:
Five (5) years of direct patient care nursing experience within two years of employment
Experience in teaching nursing preferred
Experience with the use of technology for instruction and as a communications and workflow tool
Background Clearances per PA School Code
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive based on experience and education in coordination with Professional contract.
Salary: $57,000 – $90,000
Excellent benefits including healthcare and retirement
