Early Childhood Care & Education Instructor
Early Childhood Care & Education Instructor – Position available at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, located in Jamison, PA.
Responsibilities: Prepare students to become competent in principles of child development, trends and issues in early childhood education, classroom management techniques, learning environments, and childcare center accreditation guidelines. Develop competency-based curriculum and performance-based instruction.
Qualifications: Pennsylvania certification in Career and Technical Instruction – Child Care Services 7-12 (2216) OR Pennsylvania Instructional teacher certification in Family and Consumer Sciences (5600) required; minimum of six, preferably, ten years of occupational experience within the industry; preferred qualifications include; a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in career and technical teaching; good oral and written communications skills; possess the CDA credential or be familiar with CDA certification process.
Term of Employment: Full-time, permanent
Compensation: Per MBEA Teachers’ Contract
