Job Description: The Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA), located in Camp Hill, PA, is seeking an energetic and committed individual to serve as its Director of Endorsement Operations. The Director serves as the primary liaison between PBA and Pennsylvania’s secondary and post-secondary career and technical schools. PBA’s Endorsed Trade Program offers recognition to students in PBA-approved construction programs at participating schools. The Director’s responsibilities include review of applications from the schools for PBA industry certification of school construction programs; site visits to those schools seeking review and/or approval of their construction programs (approximately 10-12 visits per year); creation of program summary executive reports; coordination of three yearly state meetings for members of PBA’s Workforce Training and Education Committee; and service as the educational consultant for PBA. Site visits to schools are conducted in conjunction with members of the local builders’ associations who participate in the review of the respective schools’ educational programs.
Qualified candidates should possess at least 3 years of administrative experience at the secondary level. Experience in career and technical education is highly desirable. Prior or current experience in the building trades will be viewed favorably.
Educational Requirements include: bachelor’s degree in in a related field such as Education or the construction trades, master’s degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Secondary School Principal/Vocational Supervisor or Director Certification.

The position is based on a flexible, part-time commitment and the individual serving in the position will not be an employee of PBA. The Director will set his or her own hours and will be required to enter into an independent contractor agreement with PBA and/or the Pennsylvania Foundation for Housing.
