Valid Director of Career and Technical Education certification.
Vocational Director certification desired
5 years teaching experience.
Experience in school administration highly desirable.
Valid PA Principal K-12 certification highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
Salary: As per Act 93 Agreement
This position serves as the instructional leader for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in the Pottstown School District. The Director is responsible for the total operation of the career and technical programs for students in grades 10-12. The successful candidate will possess leadership, administrative, and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to promote community involvement.
The Director of Career and Technical Education oversees and maintains records for all CTE programs, manages state and federal grants, and ensures compliance with state and federal data reporting requirements.
Responsibilities also include collaborating with the high school administrative team to lead building management and drive the achievement of building and district goals for the Pottstown School District.
