Job Description: Have you ever thought about teaching the trade you love to future generations of diesel mechanics? RMCTC has an immediate vacancy to teach high school students in our Diesel Truck Technology program.
Full-time (187 Days); Family Benefits; State Pension (PSERS)
Minimum of 4 years’ trade experience in all phases of the specialized maintenance and repair of trucks, buses, and other commercial and industrial vehicles; with emphasis on the latest technology involving:
Diesel engine mechanics
Suspension and steering
Brake systems
Electrical and electronic systems
Preventive maintenance inspections
Drive Trains
Gasoline engine mechanics
HVAC systems
High School Diploma required.
Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills required.
Ability to relate well with young people in a supportive role.
Working knowledge of computer applications.
