Job Description: DESCRIPTION:
Full-Time Permanent Cosmetology Teacher position available for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidate must hold a valid cosmetology teacher’s license and have had a minimum four (4) years of paid industry experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide instruction in the Cosmetology program. Develop competency-based curriculum and performance-based instruction; conduct all classroom activities as validated by the Occupational Advisory Committee. Prepare students for the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology License. Support the mission and vision of the school and contribute to a positive school climate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pennsylvania certification in Career and Technical Instruction or willingness to obtain – Career and
Technical/Instructional 2600; minimum of four (4) years of occupational experience working as a licensed cosmetologist. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
