Job Description: Have you ever thought about teaching the trade you love to future generations? RMCTC has an immediate vacancy to teach high school students in our Computerized Drafting Technology program.
COMPUTERIZED DRAFTING TECHNOLOGY TEACHER (CIP 15.1301)
For the 2024-2025 School Year
Full-time (187 Days); Family Benefits; State Pension (PSERS)
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 4 years’ trade experience in all phases of drafting and design technology including:
o Technical skills to create working drawing and computer simulations for a variety of applications.
o Includes instruction in specification interpretation, dimensioning techniques, drafting calculations, material estimation, technical communications, computer applications, and interpersonal communications.
• High School Diploma required.
• Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to relate well with young people in a supportive role.
• Working knowledge of computer applications.
• Eligible to obtain PDE-related Act 34, Act 151 and FBI clearances.
• Must pass a physical and drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
• Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
• Supervisory experience
