North Montco Technical Career Center is seeking a full-time COMMERCIAL ART AND ADVERTISING DESIGN TEACHER.
Program Description:
A program in the applied visual arts that prepares individuals to use artistic techniques to effectively communicate ideas and information to business and customer audiences via illustrations and other forms of print media. Includes instruction in concept design, layout, drawing and illustration, painting, photography, and computer graphics.
Qualifications:
– High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor degree in Graphic Design preferred.
– A minimum of 4 years (8,000 hours) documented trade/industry experience in all phases of commercial art
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
– Strong desire to work with high school students
– Good human relations and written/verbal communications
– Willingness to pursue and obtain teaching certification
– Working knowledge of computer applications

– Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
– FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
– School Employee Health Form (Physical and TB test)
– Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s)
