Job Description: The Dover Area School District wishes to announce that we are accepting applications for the following anticipated opening for the 2024-2025 School Year:
Position: Career & Technical Education – Commercial & Advertising Art Teacher (contracted)
School: High School (Grades 9 – 12)
Position Anticipated Start Date: 2024-2025 School Year
First day for teachers: August 14, 2024
This position requires a 7-12 grade Career & Technical 2019 certification. The teaching position will be teaching in a Commercial & Advertising Art lab f
or grades 9-12 and working with an inter-discipline curriculum with Digital Media (video production and photography), Graphic Design layout and multiple facets of printing.
Qualifications:
4 years and 8,00 hours of experience in the Graphic or Multimedia Industry.
Must be able to pass the Occupational Competency Assessment.
Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate – Technology Education K-12 (6005 certification) along with 4 years and 8,000 hours of in the Graphic or Multimedia industry (non-teaching) experience.
