Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide quality and rigorous occupational instruction to secondary career and technical students to prepare them for a successful career path related to industry.
2. Program development and modify curriculum to stay relevant.
3. Implement lesson plans and hands-on activities in the content area that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of each student.
4. Support students in learning industry standards.
5. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
6. Evaluate students' academic and social growth, keep accurate records, and prepare progress reports.
7. Collaborate with school-based staff on common course planning, integration, and alignment.
8. Develop and maintain a productive Occupational Advisory Committee
9. Consistent and effective program recruitment
10. Participate in professional development activities and maintain appropriate professional certificate(s) and licenses as required.
11. Remain current in educational programs related to content area while providing the best educational experience possible for students.
12. Perform other duties, as assigned
