BUILDING & PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TEACHER
Full-time (187 Days); Family Benefits; State Pension (PSERS)
· Minimum of 4 years’ trade experience in all phases of building and property maintenance field; with emphasis on the latest technology involving:
o Carpentry and Repairs
o Structural Floors, Roofs, Stairs, Doors & Windows
o Masonry Skills
o Residential Electrical Systems
o Residential Plumbing Systems
o Finishing Materials; Paints and Stains
o Heating and Air Conditioning Systems
· High School Diploma required.
· Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
· Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills required.
· Ability to relate well with young people in a supportive role.
· Working knowledge of computer applications.
· Eligible to obtain PDE-related Act 34, Act 151 and FBI clearances.
· Must pass a physical and drug test.
