Job Description: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive Technology. PDE (Career and Technical Level I) Instructional Certification 7-12 – Automotive Mechanics Certificate of Completion of Competence for
CIP 47.0604 preferred. Must have current ASE Automotive Master Technician certification.
Provide quality occupational instruction to secondary career and technical students to prepare them for a successful career path in the fields of Automotive Technology. Duties include program development, modifying curriculum to ensure it remains current and effective, and supervising all students. Build professional relationships with local businesses and industry partners to establish potential work sites for students. Maintain appropriate professional certificates and licenses as required, willingness to
pursue teaching certification and professional development activities to enhance the program as well as self. Possesses excellent communication skills.
Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities as indicated in the UBCTS Instructor Job Description.
