Job Description: The Franklin County Career & Technology Center (FCCTC) is seeking a full-time Auto Collision Repair Instructor for secondary education. FCCTC has students from 10th-12th grade. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in automotive collision repair, helping students develop the technical skills and safety practices required for success in the industry. The Auto Collision and Repair program teaches students how to use technical skills to repair damaged vehicles. Students learn to replace interior panels, repair dents and fenders, prepare surfaces for paint, and refinish vehicles through a variety of projects. They also build industry knowledge through hands-on experience working on school and customer vehicles.
Qualifications:
• Minimum four years of full-time wage-earning work (auto collision repair) experience is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of modern repair techniques and equipment. Strong communication and instructional skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Teaching or training experience in a technical or vocational setting.
• Industry certifications (e.g., I-CAR, ASE).
• Experience working with students of diverse skill levels.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess a teaching certification or who have passed the Occupational Competency Exam. Selected candidate must be able to take classes toward their CTE Instructor certification and pass the Occupational Competency Exam.
Starting pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year based on experience/education.
