immediate vacancy to teach high school students in our Print Media Production program.
PRINT MEDIA PRODUCTION (CIP 10.0399)
Position Opening August 2026
Full-time (187 Days); Family Benefits; State Pension (PSERS)
REQUIREMENTS
• Teacher Instructional Certification in Technology Education 6075, or CTE Instructional
Certification in Graphic Occupations 2076, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Candidates without a Technology Education certification must provide proof of a minimum of 4
years’ trade experience in all phases of Graphic Communication including:
o Commercial and industrial visual image and print products using mechanical, electronic and
digital graphic and printing equipment
o Desktop publishing, layout, composition, presswork and bindery
o Photography, flexography, lithography, photoengraving, and other graphic arts techniques
o Ink and color preparation and dynamics
o Airbrush and screen-printing production
o Support students in all aspects of production in a live print shop
• Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to relate well with young people in a supportive role.
• Working knowledge of computer applications.
• Eligible to obtain PDE-related Act 34, Act 151 and FBI clearances.
• Must pass a physical and drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
• Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
• Supervisory experience
