Job Description: Anticipated Welding Instructor
The Dauphin County Technical School invites applications for an Anticipated Welding Instructor (CIP Code 48.0508). Applicants must have the ability to teach all aspects of welding. The successful candidate must also be able to relate well with high-school aged students, work independently and prepare lessons that support students learning and skill development. The candidate must have at least four years paid work experience as a welder and be willing to complete necessary coursework to earn a CTE teaching certification, or currently possess a PA CTE Teaching Certificate. Prior teaching experience is not required. Salary dependent upon experience. Full benefits package. Required documents: resume, the Standard Application for Teaching Positions in Pennsylvania Public Schools, and PDE 6004 Form. Pre-employment paperwork requirements include PA State Police Clearance (Act 34); Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151); FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114); School Employee Health Form (Physical and TB test); Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Forms (Act 168).
