Job Description: Anticipated Building Trades Maintenance Instructor to begin at the start of the 2024-2025 school year. (Cip Code 46.0401) Individual with teaching experience in career and technical education preferred. This is a program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to keep a building functioning, and to serve a variety of structures including commercial and industrial buildings and mobile homes. Includes instruction in the basic maintenance and repair skills required to service building systems, such as air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electrical, major appliances, and other mechanical systems. Applicant must have a minimum of four years (8000 hours) comprehensive wage-earning experience directly related to this occupation and be willing to complete necessary coursework to earn a vocational teaching certification, or currently possess a Vocational Teaching Certificate.
