The Dauphin County Technical School is a comprehensive high school with 1,110 students, grades 9-12. We invite applications for an Anticipated Assistant Principal position starting August 1, 2023. Applicant must have a PA principal certification. The ideal candidate must have: effective communication, teamwork skills, experience with the Pennsylvania Core Academic Standards and Career Technology Education Programs of Study, successful history of participation in a positive school culture, knowledge of special education regulations and practices, and a commitment to a collaborative professional environment. Experience working in a culturally diverse environment and working knowledge of PowerSchool is a plus. As Assistant Principal, responsibilities will include: school safety coordinator, staff supervision, student supervision and discipline, online summer school, and building positive relationships between school and families. Salary dependent upon experience. Full benefit package. Required documents: a letter of interest addressed to Mr. Keys, Principal, resume, the Standard Application for Teaching Positions in Pennsylvania Public Schools, copy of PDE certification, copies of undergraduate/graduate transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.
