Job Description: North Montco Technical Career Center is seeking a full-time ALLIED HEALTH TEACHER.
Job Requirements:
– Master’s Degree in Nursing
– Registered Nurse with current PA licensure
– 3 years’ (minimum) experience in acute care hospital nursing
– Possess or have the ability to obtain Pennsylvania State Teacher Certification
– Willing to obtain all clearances, health screenings, and vaccinations identified by the participating hospital
– Willing to work with colleges to obtain dual credit agreement for students in the program
Essential Job Functions
– Deliver curriculum independently in a hospital setting
– Arrange coordination of basic work experiences for students in the program
– Supervise students on clinical rotations throughout the hospital
Pre-employment Paperwork Requirements:
– PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
– Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
– FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
– School Employee Health Form (Physical and TB test)
– Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s)
