Job Title: Adult Education Nail Technician Instructor

Job Description: At the present time, a vacancy exists for an Instructor of Nail Technician Course – Adult Technical Training within the Career, Technical and Customized Education division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position is temporary for the duration of the program.
Summary of Position:
Provide quality occupational instruction to post-secondary career and technical students to prepare them for a successful career path in a specific occupation.
Qualifications:
-Licensed Cosmetology Teacher with expertise and/or certifications in nails
Or
-Licensed Nail Technology Teacher
-Related teaching experience highly desirable.
-Candidate should possess relevant industry certifications.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
-Maintain and practice an effective safety program within the curriculum.
-Consistent and effective program recruitment.
-Effective supervision of all students at the TCHS.
-Maintaining and modifying curriculum to remain current and up to date.
-Contributing to a productive Occupational Advisory Committee.
-Maintenance of appropriate professional certificate(s) and licenses if appropriate.
-Maintenance of appropriate industrial certifications on a regular basis.
-Other responsibilities as requested by the supervisor.
2023-2024 Salary: $29.00/ hour
Hours: Evenings, three nights per week, two cohorts per year; duration of assignment is 23 weeks.
Location: TCHS- Pennock’s Bridge 280 Pennock’s Bridge Road, West Grove, PA 19390.
