TARGET AUDIENCE: Administrative and Supervisory CTE Personnel

DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed for CTE administrators and other administrative personnel to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to increase student learning, improve instructional practices, and enhance career readiness. The benefits to helping teachers ease the load of instructional planning, delivery, and assessment are also significant. The course includes 10 hours of instruction and 20 hours of job- embedded assignments to ensure practical application in CTE settings. This hybrid course will be delivered to Learners via Zoom using Canvas LMS. Instruction is delivered through synchronous sessions. Learners will be responsible for attending and participating in each session, completing all job embedded assignments, including the culminating project, and the course evaluation.
By the end of this course, participants will:
- Understand the role of AI in improving student learning and career readiness in CTE
- Evaluate and implement AI tools in instructional and assessment practices
- Develop strategic plans to integrate AI into CTE curricula
- Train and support teachers in AI applications
- Measure the effectiveness of AI-enhanced learning initiatives
