PACTA is pleased to announce the 2025 State Advocacy Day and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Day taking place on Wednesday April 2, 2025.
As part of PACTA State Advocacy Day, PACTA will host a reception on Tuesday, April 1, at 5:00 p.m. at the Hilton Harrisburg. The Advocacy Day program will continue on Wednesday, April 2, beginning with a breakfast meeting from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at the Hilton Harrisburg for all attendees.
Following breakfast, CTE Day events will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the East Wing of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building, hosted by Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver, Chair of the Senate Education Committee.

2025 PACTA STATE ADVOCACY DAY
PACTA will start the day at 7:00 a.m. at the Hilton Harrisburg with a breakfast meeting, where legislative packets will be distributed. Following the PACTA breakfast meeting at 9:00 a.m., Senator Culver will begin CTE Day with remarks in the East Wing of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building. Attendees can then proceed to their legislative visits. Additionally, there will be CTCs/schools exhibiting in the rotunda as part of CTE Day. We urge all of you to invite Advisory Committee members, JOC members, students, and other supporters of CTE to participate with you in this event. Legislative talking points will be provided prior to Advocacy.

CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE) DAY
Your students are invited to a unique opportunity to showcase their school and program while highlighting career and technical education to of Pennsylvania legislators. CTE Day, sponsored by Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver, will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the East Wing of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building, Harrisburg. LUNCH VOUCHERS: PACTA will provide lunch vouchers to students and educators participating in the exhibits.
REGISTRATION: To participate in the CTE Day click here to register your school and your students by Friday, March 14, 2025. If you do not yet have all the students’ names, you can register now and send the student names later.
ACCOMMODATIONS
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Harrisburg on the night of April 1, 2025. at the flat rate of $189. The Hilton is located on One North 2nd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
Individuals are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. Reservations can be made online or by calling (800) HILTONS, (445-8667) and using group code “9AX”. The hotel reservation cut-off is March 14, 2025.
